What's better than one amazing park for riding? Two great parks for riding!

Start from the breakfast location, head over the Harvard bridge, and take the Dr. Paul Dudley White Path along the river for five miles. Cross the Charles River at Galen St, then continue on the path until Howard Street. Ride through Watertown up toward Belmont to the back entrance of Beaver Brook Reservation.

Climb the hill via the Western Greenway on dirt, and then exit the Greenway just past the marshes via Walnut Street. Jaunt across further suburbs and Highway 2 to get just past the Minuteman Path. You’ll ride through Arlington’s Great Meadows and exit on Sheila Rd. You’ll next find the next section of dirt through Whipple Hill. Whipple Hill is fun but filled with rocks and roots, there are easy pavement detours if you would prefer to avoid those pesky roots.

Find yourself on suburban roads again, where you’ll navigate toward The Fells reservation. Enter The Fells on the northern end, travel east, and then pedal south. Beware the sometimes errand stones and rocky moments of The Fells! But enjoy 🛍🛍🛍

Slide south toward Medford, cross the Main Street bridge, and weave your way through Somerville to your post-ride beverage.
